The ingredients needed to make Rice Halva:
  1. Prepare Cooked white rice 1 cup - blend into paste
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup Sugar
  3. Make ready 1/4 cup Ghee
  4. Get 1 pinch Salt
  5. Take Few drops lemon juice
  6. Get Roasted cahew nuts
  7. Prepare Orange/yellow color few drops - food coloring (optional)

Halbai is a kind of rice halwa or rice cake prepared using rice, jaggery and coconut. In this halu bai recipe little cucumber also added to get added flavour and taste. This Halwa is prepared with raw rice, coconut and butter. A very easy and quick halwa.

Instructions to make Rice Halva:
  1. Blend cooked rice into a thick smooth paste. Keep aside
  2. Add ghee in non stick pan. Roast cashew nut. Keep aside.
  3. Add rice paste in the same pan. Keep stirring for 5 minutes. Add color. Add ghee. Add sugar. Add lemon juice. Keep stirring untill the consistency change into a semi transparent and thicker. Add cashew. Pour into mold or flat plate. Let it cool completely before cutting/serving.
