  1. Take a kadai & add 1 cup water. Once it comes to a boiling point, add the jaggery.
  2. When the jaggery completely melts,keep it aside to cool down. Now sieve it to remove all the impurities.
  3. In a bowl, take rice flour, all-purpose flour, cardamom powder,salt & mix well.
  4. Now add the jaggery to the mixture to make a batter. (The batter should be like dosa batter).
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan.When the oil is hot, pour a ladle of batter to the oil.
  6. The Pitha puffs up. Slowly turn the other side. - Cook both sides in medium high heat till it turns golden.
  7. Remove from oil to a paper towel.
  8. Serve with hot milk tea or red tea. Enjoy.
